Superfood Season

Why am I sharing a plate of food? Well, superfood salads are the go to choice this season. Whilst the nights get colder and darker, it's easy to grab for that comfort food or mindlessly eat away, it is true we need extra calories in colder weather. However, the got to meal right now is a superfood, super loaded salad.

It's time to get creative at home, make it a bowl full of joy to leave you in a great mood and content and full!

Now for my fellow Londoners, I've rated my top three Super food salad joints, all under £15 to dine in and try this season!

In at 3 is.. Bibi's

Bibi's have quite a few chains across London, I opted for the one in Mayfair on a sunny afternoon, Shepherd's market is surprisingly quiet on the weekends and a cute little hideaway down a cobbled back street right in the heart of town. They have a simple choice of mostly vegetables and homemade hummus it was tasty, and I could see how it would be a perfect choice on a work day. Portion size was okay. I give it a solid 7/10.

You can see their locations and find out more on the link below

In at number 2 is Farmer J

Another great healthy choice, this is a relatively new brand and company and the set up is a similar vibe to Whole Foods with an array of choices to make up your 'tray'. They have a good selection of meats, veg and fish to then accompany with some tasty greens and salads and brown or white rice.

Portion size was good, selection was much better here, price is reasonable too and a great selection of drinks and juices. The buildings a bigger and they had a good selection of outdoor seating as well.

This place felt more social and a nice meet up place for a very easy quick lunch with a friend or alone as it has a cafe vibe to it still and is very casual. I'm giving Farmer J a great, 8.5/ 10!

Finally, last but no means least, at number 1 is Urban Greens!

Well, this place was such a pleasant and tasty surprise! Firstly, the portion size is VERY generous and I am not exaggerating when I say, one of the BEST salads I have had in a while! I had their new Supergreen Salad by Bettina's Kitchen and it was honestly so tasty and filling! They have a great choice of salads in their to get the imagination going, there is a water tap to refill yourself and some protein balls and Keto cakes as well on display to try.

Like the name, 'Urban Greens' the decor is very contemporary and spacious and bright inside and so much better than I thought it would be!

It reawakened my tastebuds to what a super good salad could be and I was left feeling satisfied and respectfully admiring the creativity to making salads cool and interesting again!

Urban Greens have a few joints across London but not many, it is again a quick lunch choice that honestly beats a Pret or Leon in my opinion.

I'm giving it a whopping 9/10!

Well there we go, my top three budget friendly salads that satisfy choices in London.

Let me know if you try any of them!

Love and Hugs,
